Classic designs find themselves encrusted with a layer of glass shed off the end of a blowpipe. The once clear glass
now appears a dirty shade of white from quenching, pipe scale and soot. This slightly scuzzy, hairy crust appears almost
decadent from a distance, as though the fixtures have been gilded, but has a slightly grimier reality upon observation.
Apprehension Amassed is an installation that explores a waning mental state during a time of obsessive toil and
thought. This installation included 3 screens: one rapidly and repeatedly making glass marbles, one showing a
hand throwing marbles into a seemingly fragile nylon sac, and one with that nylon sac looming above a nervous
figure as it slowly fills and stretches. The videos are all obscured by the physical object (filled nylon sac)
exhaustedly hung in the space.
Trapped in an anxious, heavy mindspace, Ambivalent Progression / One Foot In existed as an arduous walking performance
that ultimately led to the removal of these heavy sandals in exchange for my normal shoes; acknowledging that it was an
active decision to put them on or take them off.
Intimate Boundaries explores the dichotomy between physical proximity and an emotional inability to connect
with others fully. While performing the familiar ritual of sharing a meal, noses touch as two people sip a
beverage together. Knees interlocked, movements start to mirror each other, but the act of sharing is merely
an act. The blown vessels are bisected with a glass membrane, deliberately separate.
The human body is armored with a delicate yet resilient shield of skin. It relates to glass in its duality of both fragility and strength.
This glass Skin gives thousands of tiny glass lenses to zoom in closer to the hairs and pores of our vast landscape. With coverage, these
clusters of glass pox create an entirely new shield.
Delicately hung "to dry", the porcelain articles of Hand Wash / Hang Dry lives as a memorial for clothing that account
for a time, place, or relationship. The gifted sweater from a loved one I never wore, but could not seem to part with;
the misplaced scarf of an old friend. This new wardrobe lives in limbo between what I have moved past and what I cling to.

Each necklace contains an eyelash, one from each of my family members, as well as one of my own; my way of giving permanence
to an ephemeral piece of each of my loved ones. Wish You Were Here consists of both a tangible and intangible version of my
family. It is in these little moments of comfort that I aim to capture the feeling of irrevocable love.

A Fragile Luxury dissects the pieces we pass down over generations. This disposable version of an heirloom will shatter and
disintegrate when worn. Making even more precious the time spent with it clasp around shivering shoulders.
With half her weight strung in glass baubles, "The Weight of Overindulgence" looks to reveal the physicality of the
seemingly fragile medium of glass; while revealing the emotional and societal weight of excess.
The Isolated Body series seeks to break down the body as a whole; allowing space to appreciate each part
independently. Each joint, knuckle, hair, pore, and scar is illuminated, turning the surface of the human
body into a vast, mysterious landscape to be explored and documented.
